Poor QC but not bad for the money
This is an attractive chair and a fair value for the money. It has a very nice design. The seats are nice looking, easy to clean and hold their appearance well. However, the manufacturing quality control for the metal parts is not up to snuff.
I now have 6 of these. The circle on the back of the chair is significantly out of alignment on about half of the chairs and the welds do not look professional. The machining of the metal parts is somewhat sloppy. On some of the chairs, the legs did not align properly, creating a wobble that I had to fix with felt pads. I will say, however, that the two chairs that I just bought from AtHomeMart are of better quality than the ones I bought a few years ago from a store that is now out of business.
The welds on the leg braces were very poor on the older chairs, and one of them broke a few weeks ago while my wife was sitting in it. The welds on the two new chairs from AtHomeMart look more substantial and the circles on...
