I have used this Dutch oven three times since receiving it and I love it. Not only is it lovely to look at, but it does a wonderful job in the oven heating evenly and holding the heat. I live on a sailboat, thus my oven is small. This pan with lid fits perfectly in the tiny oven. The construction is of the highest quality. The pan is heavier, but is exactly what you would want in a good Dutch oven.
