Great for Parties, but of course, it is not fine stemware.
These are restaurant supply quality glasses, and work well for intended purpose of entertaining larger groups. They are not unbreakable, but they are very sturdy, tough even, and wash up well. Make sure you use a non-etching dishwashing detergent to preserve the clarity. They make a great alternative to plastic wine glasses, and work out better than renting if you need to use them several times a year. These are definitely a luxury in my book, but hey, it makes for a nicer touch than having a bunch of mismatched stemware where you we can never seem to keep more than 10 or 12 because someone is always breaking something.
I did have a packaging issue. Amazon sent these in a second box, but the paper padding was not thoroughly placed. One glass arrived broken where there was no padding between the box of glasses and the second protective box. Amazon customer service was very nice about it, and gave me a $10 credit rather returning the whole box of 36. You can purchase...
