Beautiful and impossible to assemble!!
I fell in love with this table and bought it from a dealer near my home. It arrived and looks beautiful --- in the box. the finish is lively, it has a heaviness that you only get with solid wood, and it's very unusual.
However,mthe instructions are unclear. There are 2 different size legs, and while it's clear that you put facing one way, and 2 facing another, it's not clear WHICH two go which way. The other issue is that the legs are cut on an angle and are so heavy and awkward that it's virtually impossible to hold the leg at the right angle, get it lined up with the tiny dowl AND screw it in with the tiny Allan key. I am 5'8 woman with average hands and can't get one hand around the table leg to hold it while I use the other to screw.
After 4 hours, I have given up on assembling it alone. This is a real problem because I live alone!
I'm frustrated, have bruised shins and broken nails. And still only 2 of the 4 legs are in place. If I can get it...
