Very happy with my purchase
I bought this cookware set to replace an older 7 piece tri-ply stainless steel set.
This 13 piece set, although listed as Member's Mark, is actually Tramontina cookware. The price was right.
Was looking for tri-ply stainless steel. Like the contemporary design. Feel the quality & construction is top notch. The pieces are fairly light weight, compared to cast iron or my older stainless steel set, which is a big plus for me. Doesn't require high or medium high temperature settings because of the even heat distribution, keeps food from burning. If cooking something that requires boiled water/liquids, must start on high, then heat is reduced once food is added. The handles are also metal yet have not noticed any heat on them when touching or lifting the pan(s) during the cooking process. Once the cookware cools, soak for a short while in soapy water. Cleans up nicely. In general, it seems that food cooks in much less time than my old set which was not by...
