As laytex gloves go, these Microflex Ultra One gloves are the gold standard.

I use these for work on vintage trucks and mechanical repairs. They are EMT gloves that are very thick and do not tear easily and they have a nice longer cuff which does a great job of protecting your entire hand from grease and goobs of engine repair.

I purchase them by the case and give a few boxes away to friends who have not yet discovered the beauty of using professional grade laytex gloves for working on vehicles. The ease of simply peeling off a glove to answer a phone or jot down a note when your hands are buried in grease is often not appreciated until you actually have great gloves like these and use them regularly.
