Somewhat disappointed with the quality
I liked the pattern and the weight, lovely to hold and use. I wanted stainless that was 18/10. After considerable research I knew that was the correct choice. I was also familiar with Oneida products, as I have purchased some in the past. Now with so many items coming from China I am skeptical of the quality. However I noted on the back of the forks and spoons this set came from Indonesia.

Having said all this and washing the flatware by hand the first time, and then once in the dishwasher for some of it, and drying it with a dish towel to make sure it was perfectly dry I noted pit marks on the knife blades and rust in each of the pit marks. Since then I have been washing the knives by hand. Prior to purchasing this set I bought another at a restaurant supply store and had that same thing happen. It was just 18/ and I returned it.

I have been married 49 years and have never had this happen before, I just wanted a change. I feel I should have kept the set I had...
