Beautiful board, but has manufacturing blemishes
This is a durable cutting board. I haven't seen a blade mark on it yet. It's just the right size for my kitchen. An absolutely beautiful bunch of wood, especially after you oil it. Teak has an interesting fragrance. I enjoy the fact that it is higher than the counter which gives me extra knuckle room and the elevation is quite comfortable to work at. I gave it four stars because it was manufactured with a couple of blemishes that were filled with a wood colored epoxy and sanded. The epoxy is harder than the wood so it didn't sand completely level. Luckily both blemishes are on one side so I have a presentation side, and a side I can rough up a little if I need to. No point in returning it because I'm just going to cut stuff up on it anyway. I'm glad I finally treated myself to a good cutting board.
