These Al Mar Ultra-Chef Stainless knives are absolutely beautiful! The Damascus steel blade is visually stunning. All my friends that see these knives comment about how gorgeous they look. They are well balanced and extremely sharp. Blade retention is amazing! The 9.5 inch blade carves turkeys & large roasts with ease. I own other Henckels & Wusthof knives, but since purchasing these Al Mar knives, I use Al Mar exclusively now! My Henckels & Wusthof knives are now relegated to camp & RV duty.
