Good product but not worth the money
This product costs (at the time) nearly $1000.00 and I got it on sale for $689.00. Based on several factors which I'll explain I feel that this item should be around 400 dollars or less.

First the GOOD things. For as large as this workcenter is and as much assembly is required I have to admit they really nailed all the hole alignments. Everything fit together perfectly which usually is not the case. Once together it feels sturdy and my wife enjoys using it, so it's a good product. It looks good especially after we cleaned it up and oiled it.

Now for the bad. Maybe I misread the advertisement but I was under the impression that this was a solid hardwood piece, it is not. Most of this unit is hardwood veneer over some type of compressed wood or plywood, it is not solid hardwood. Also, some of the construction methods used leave a lot to be desired. For instance, the bottom of the unit simply sits on pins that are not even fastened into the wood. All of...
